if you've read my latest post you'll notice most of the gift ideas for my boyfriend & others. here are some more i have either thought of or saw:
AMAZON DOT COM
-great for everything, especially books & magazine subscriptions. if you're really into physically giving someone something though, you could always buy a current issue that's out, wrap it, & make a little note about how they'll be getting a whole year subscription.
* note: does anyone know of any type of sonography related mag? i thought that would be neat for my mom, but i haven't found anything yet.
blurb, photo books.
-all of my friends are making books for their boyfriends or parents through this site. they come out reallllly nice. it might be cutting it too close now (i'm not sure), but it's a GREAT idea even for future anniversaries/birthdays/holidays.
more: urban & target have all your photo & home decor needs for pretty cheap. also linens & things is going out of business, so check that. tj maxx/marshalls: namebrands for less! meijer also carries perfume for cheaper (betsey johnson!)
hollywood video is/was having a $3.99 dvd special. GOOD movies, too. family video also has really great prices on DVDs. as does target :D

*= get some twine & clothes pins (you can paint the clothes pins, or target has colorful ones!) find a picture or two to start it off for them. here's what mine used to look like:
but i'm redoing it & making it smaller so pictures will hang close together.
** = i know i've said this before, but i highly encourage you to join
ftw files on LJ. my friend andrew started it & it has all your music needs. FOR FREE. requests are welcome. & then you can decorate the cd & make it personal. here are some mix cds i have made in the past: mixes&etc.

i am thankful every day. but since today is a holiday, i will note i am especially grateful for love. in all it's shapes, sizes, & forms. i love my mom & pops & brother & sister (slash entire fam). i love my friends, new, old, worldwide. i love linguistics. i love TARGET. i love that i am moving (metaphorically & literally). i love that i am breathing, smiling, dreaming, creating, inspiring, living, learning, & loving in general.
& i love my boyfrennnn & his little bob dylan curls.
